During its 5 editions, Vulica Brasil brought more than 50 murals to Minsk, many of which are along and around Kastrychnitskaya Street. The area has become a must-see in Minsk, an open gallery of artistic and urban interventions.
The 4th edition exceeded our best expectations and attracted around 100,000 people during the 24-hour closing party, a 10x increase compared to the previous edition.
Artistic interventions, creation of the world's largest mural, seminars on art, urbanism, and sustainable development, cinema, visit to the Zhodzina orphanage, and closing party for thousands of people in downtown Minsk.
Vulica Brasil II expanded the programming of the 1st edition. Our objectives were more visibility for the project and improvements in the residences of Brazilian artists in Belarus.
As we plan new festivals, we remember that the genesis of the Vulica Brasil festival was almost an improvisation. It was organized in just 3 months, from the conception of the idea to its implementation.
